First ever ECM and BPM Masterclasses in the Netherlands

Nltrain The end of 2007 saw some more new activities in Europe. As our trainings are becoming more and more widely accepted throughout the industry, and also outside our industry, interest continues to grow. In December we held the AIIM ECM Masterclass for the first time as a public event in the Netherlands. In the Europe Hotel Bilderberg in Scheveningen, a stone’s throw from the beach, delegates came together for four days of learning. The class consisted of a mix of consultants and end-users and the comments were very positive.

At the same time our partner Mr. Erik Hartmann, from Hartman Communicatie BV, a Dutch consultancy with international reach, ran a BPM class in Utrecht, right in the centre of the country. Again feedback was excellent, the students were happy as the accompanying from both classes show. 5 more classes are planned  for 2008 for both BPM as well as IOA.

With more classes planned in Ireland, UK, the Netherlands, Germany and South Africa as well as Asia, Australia, and all over the United States, there is most likely a course on Enterprise Content management, Records Management, Information Organization and Access or BPM in your country soon. If not, then please contact the European training centre for the possibility of either organizing one in your country or in your organization.

AIIM training – feedback from “people like you”

The PR firm Edeleman released early 2007 survey findings that shows trust in “a person like me” increased from 20% in 2003 to 68% today. You want to hear about other peoples’ opinions instead of corporate presentations and marketing materials, and I have to admit that I always read other travelers’ reviews on Tripadvisor.com before booking any new hotels.

Let me therefore share with you some of the comments we have received from “people like you” about the AIIM training programs:

"At this period of time Information Access, Business Process Management, Enterprise Records and Document Management are the critical areas of concern and interest in the private, public, educational and non-profit sectors. AIIM has embraced its responsibility as an industry leader by designing, developing, and delivering an excellent suite of training courses that provide much needed expertise and leadership for these fields." Dr. Michael JD Sutton, Asst. Professor, Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business, Westminster College

“The AIIM training courses deliver the listed content in a consistent user friendly format. This makes taking subsequent courses comfortable for the student. These courses follow a logical progression and explain in familiar, easy to understand terms what one needs to know on the topic to be successful with ECM/ERM et.al, solutions.” Julie Bishop, Administrator, Vital Statistics, Marion County Health Department

"The 4-day AIIM ERM Master course has given me an excellent grounding for delivering an ERM project. The classroom environment provides opportunities to discuss and work through real project delivery situations. The comprehensive course materials together with access to the online modules provide an invaluable point of reference." Keith Lane, Strategy & Integration Manager, Royal Mail Group Ltd

European Expansion

Greenworld_3We are approaching almost 2 years of AIIM Education Programs. Thousands of students have passed through ECM, ERM and now IOA and BPM as well. In Europe we have been moving forwards into the premier spot as a training provider. With private courses in almost all main European countries in 2007, 2008 is going to be another year of growth. With new Partnerships in Germany, Netherlands and the UK that allow us to reach further into the organisations that want to get their information under control. Public courses in the next year are going to be held in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and Germany and dates will be published here.

AIIMs Education Program is rapidly becoming the industry standard for both traditional trade and consultancy customers, as well as within end-user organizations. What characterizes these companies ? They are of all sizes, with either no projects, or in the middle of the project, or right after a implementation. There are experienced and inexperienced Consultants, Project Managers, Information Architects, Records manager, IT and business people. Each of these groups draws different things out of these Educational Programs but are universally pleased with what they have learned. Quite a few end up sending colleagues to the next class so that everyone starts talking the same language and has the same understanding of the content of the programs in their own organisations.

So if you are looking for a public or private class on ECM, ERM, BPM, Information Organization and Access in Europe, Middle-East or Africa. Or you want to be part of a Best Practise course with discussions amongst your equally well-informed and interested peers, come and check with us for a course near you.
