New 1 day AIIM PDF/Archive Training Program
AIIM intends to introduce a new PDF/A training in Q1 2008. This one day training will be completely focused on PDF/A (ISO 19005-1) and its use as a file format in the archiving of data. After the training the trainee should be able to talk knowledgeable about PDF/A, the business case for such a format and its role in the overall keeping of documents and records.
AIIM is the leading authority for PDF standards responsible for the majority of the PDF family of standards which includes PDF, PDF/E, PDF/UA, PDF Healthcare and of course PDF/A. The concept of PDF/Archive began as an AIIM standards committee in late 2002 and rapidly grew into the ISO standard. Our experience in developing all of these PDF standards gives AIIM the knowledge base to be able to provide reliable, accurate education for the PDF standards.
